A representative from the exclusive US distributor has told us that they expect the first arrivals of Solido Military products to be here by May. We will let you know of pricing as soon as we are contacted by them. Unfortunately, Verem is no longer producing product and the Solido selection has been greatly reduced by the manufacturer.
The story of the Solido brand began in France in the 1930's. In the beginning the manufacturer made a simple spring operated tank. Through the years Solido evolved to a highly collectible quality product. A quick review of the product offerings on the auction sites shows that the product has sustained and increased in value...especially mint models with good condition boxes. While the product does not command the pricing of Dinky models (yet) they have steadily increased in value.

PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS
Solido Verem products normally have diecast bases with plastic or resin parts. The tanks are normally 1:50 scale...the trucks and jeeps are 1:43 scale. Solido did produce a 1:18 scale Willy's Jeep with three variants. The tanks have movable turrets with elevating guns. The tracks are metal with movable links...just like the real thing. Solido products are base line products...nothing fancy. Verem products are upscale Solido line with camo, dyed tracks and resin accessories (such as jerry cans, blanket rolls etc..) The few extra bucks for the Verem line is well worth it.
